Historian General Interviewed for NPR’s “Here and Now”

November 17, 2007

Historian General Ann Lainhart will be featured on the National Public Radio program “Here and Now” on Thanksgiving Day. Here & Now’s Shannon Mullen visits the General Society in Plymouth, Mass., to find out what it takes to get into this “exclusive club whose members can prove they are direct descendents of the 102 pilgrims who landed at Plymouth Rock nearly four centuries ago.”

Many public radio stations air this program; others do not. To see what stations broadcast “Here and Now,” click here.

XM satellite radio subscribers can hear the program at 11 a.m. (CT) on XM 133.

If your local public radio station doesn’t carry the program (no stations in Nebraska or Iowa do), you can listen to the online podcast, after it airs, by clicking here.
