In Memoriam

Former Nebraska Society member John Raymond Barton, 83, a descendant of Pilgrim William Brewster, died May 29. He joined the Nebraska Society in 1974 and was a member for 10 years. Memorial services were June 3, with private inurnment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha. Barton’s son, John L. Barton, of Tempe, Ariz., is a member of the Nebraska Society.
