December 31, 2020As 2020 comes to a close, the Nebraska Society of Mayflower Descendants remembers five members whose deaths were reported this year:
Nancy Rose (Norris) Jellico, age 78, Feb. 27, 2018, Amelia. A descendant of Pilgrim William Brewster, she joined the Nebraska Society in 1995.
June Iris (Pritchard) Hand, age 89, April 17, 2020, Pleasanton. A descendant of Pilgrim William Brewster, she joined the Nebraska Society in 1982.
Nancy Alden (Egbert) Barks, age 82, April 24, 2020, Anoka, Minn. A descendant of Pilgrim John Alden, she joined the Nebraska Society in 1971.
Lizabeth Ann (Pett) Heizer, age 89, Aug. 8, 2020, Omaha. A descendant of Pilgrims John Howland and William Brewster, she joined the Nebraska Society in 2009.
Anne Godfrey (Thorne) Weaver, age 87, Nov. 23, 2020, Omaha. A descendant of Pilgrim John Howland, she joined the Nebraska Society in 1970.

December 23, 2020The Nebraska Society of Mayflower Descendants congratulates Joan Marie Laughlin, Lincoln, a descendant of Pilgrims John Alden, Henry Samson and Myles Standish on the approval of a supplemental application for Pilgrim Priscilla (Mullins) Alden.
